Why Simama exists

Not a cause.
A squad.

Every kid on this team knows what it means to be vulnerable — to grow up facing hardship, an uncertain home, and days without enough. These are children the world overlooks too easily. Simama means "stand up." It's what they do the moment they pull on the shirt.

We don't hand out pity. We hand out boots, a position, a coach who shows up, a warm meal after training, and a room full of people who expect them on Saturday. Football gives shape to a week. Belonging gives shape to a life.

The pitch is where the turnaround starts — school support, mentorship and a path forward follow from it. One team proved it works. Now we're building the rest.

Rwanda has 30 districts. Right now, one of them has a Simama team. Our plan is simple and stubborn: light up every district on the map, one team, one coach, one roster of kids at a time — until no district is dark.
